DEADLINE for completion of Advisory Session
Meet with GPD about Two-Area Exam
Finish language requirement
Coursework (2 courses per semester)
Fourth year:
Areas Approved and Scheduled by GPD
Area lists and rationales submitted to Graduate Office
Complete Area exams (recommended)
Meet with Advisors about dissertation
Coursework (2 courses per semester)
Fifth year:
DEADLINE for completing Area Exams
Submit Dissertation Prospectus (recommended)
Work on dissertation
Sixth year:
DEADLINE for submitting Prospectus
Meet with Assoc. GPD about job search
Work on dissertation
Seventh year:
Finish dissertation
