If you didn't get paid when you were expecting to, it's probably because your contract hadn't been processed in time. Whatever the case, you can get an Emergency Salary Advance. The Bursar's Office will cut you a check worth 70% of your pay. The remaining balance will be delivered on your next paycheck.
To get an Emergency Salary Advance, contact the person in your work department who processes the contracts. This person may or may not be aware of how to do this, but never mind—you are! Explain to them how it works. They need to contact Human Resources in Whitmore 325 and ask for an Emergency Salary Advance. If you do this on the Friday you were supposed to get paid, you should be able to go to Human Resources on Monday to sign an "Advance Authorization Form." You then bring this form to the Bursar's Office, where you will immediately receive the check.
